Can anyone see the irony here: The Chinese are belching out billions of tons of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse emissions from industry and transport, burning coal by the megaton and then they have billions of tons of waste going to landfill or incineration. I’m painstakingly washing out a jam jar to put in the recycling bin.
