Lord Haw Haw broadcast lies on behalf of the Nazi propaganda machine. If the expression had been invented then, it would have been (correctly) called fake news. He was later executed for his treachery. Now a female diplomat, subject to an obligation of confidentiality and bound by a signature on the Official Secrets Act, resigns allegedly for anti-Brexit reasons. Hands up, who thinks this lady Alexandra Hall Hall (yes, really!) is also a traitor and what should her fate be? Is it the final shot of a dying remoaner campaign that her letter of resignation somehow "accidentally" finds its way to the CNN reporters' office? And can pigs fly and shit on Battersea Power Station?
